Description

This dry red is a blend of Chilean Carmenare, California Zinfandel and Pennsylvania Cabernet Franc aged for 2 years on a heavy toast French oak. The wine has a cherry/berry flavor, with a quick pepper taste and a mocha/chocolate finish.

The winery donates a dollar from the sale of each bottle of this wine to the Bushy Run Battlefield Heritage Society.  Bushy Run Battlefield preserves and interprets for citizens and visitors the site of this pivotal battle fought between British and Native Americans during the conflict known as Pontiac’s War (1763-64).  The battlefield is located in our hometown of Harrison City, PA.
