This deliciously satisfying ruby port-style wine is a blend of three of our dry red wines, fortified with grape spirits to just the right level to balance flavor and alcohol (19.6% abv) and aged on heavily toasted Pennsylvania Oak to contribute to a dark chocolate\/mocha finish.\u00a0 \u00a0A nice after dinner cordial, it is also excellently enjoyed when paired with either holiday chocolates or with a freshly baked brownie & chocolate-fudge icing.\u00a0 \u00a0 500 ml bottle.<\/p>\n
Pontiac, (born c. 1720, on the Maumee River [now in Ohio, U.S.]\u2014died April 20, 1769, near the Mississippi River [at present-day Cahokia, Ill.]),\u00a0Ottawa Indian chief<\/b>\u00a0who became a great intertribal leader when he organized a combined resistance\u2014known as Pontiac’s War (1763\u201364)\u2014to British power in the Great Lakes area.<\/p>\n
