(Semi-Sweet Pink Catawba Rose’)

General Braddock was an officer during the French and Indian War. To celebrate his efforts, we have named this Catawba/Fredonia blend in his honor.    This wine is light and refreshing.  It delivers a sweet fruity flavor from the Fredonia on the front and finishes tart and refreshingly light citrus and grapefruit-like notes from the Catawba,  reminding the taster of a “Pink Catawba Rose’“.

The winery donates a dollar from the sale of each bottle of this wine to the Bushy Run Battlefield Heritage Society.  Bushy Run Battlefield preserves and interprets for citizens and visitors the site of this pivotal battle fought between British and Native Americans during the conflict known as Pontiac’s War (1763-64).    The battlefield is located in our hometown of Harrison City, PA.
